It is necessary to check that the dust removal device is in good condition before cutting. When using a grinding wheel chamfering machine, check in advance whether the grinding wheel is damaged, cracked, damp, and the power cord is reliable. The machine must be stopped when changing tools, measuring workpieces, lubricating, and cleaning pipe heads. Before bending the pipe of the chamfering machine, adjust the cutter and clamp the work object. The parking baffle should be fixed, and it can be operated only after the sequence of clamping, unclamping, forward and backward testing.

The safe operation of the chamfering machine also needs to pay attention to the following issues:

1. The speed change of the main shaft of the chamfering machine must be carried out after parking. The gears must be fully meshed when shifting. When the machine tool is found to be abnormal, stop and check immediately; 　

   
   

2, adjust the tool and clamp the work object before cutting. The length of the clamping part shall not be less than 50 mm. The parking baffle must be fixed, and it can be operated only after the sequence of clamping, unclamping, forward and backward test runs;

7. When using a grinding wheel chamfering machine, check in advance whether the grinding wheel is damaged, cracked, damp, and whether the power cord is reliable; 　　

8. The dust removal device of the chamfering machine should be intact before cutting; 　　

9. No one should stand in the direction of the workpiece in and out of the material.
